Why Visit Marrakech? A First-Timer's Guide

Marrakech Travel Guide →

Marrakech hits every sense at once — the spice-and-leather smell of the souks, the call to prayer echoing across rooftop terraces, the colour of a thousand lanterns in the medina at dusk. It's a city built for getting pleasantly lost in, where a wrong turn down an alley usually leads somewhere more interesting than where you were headed. Beyond the old city, the Atlas Mountains rise close enough for a day trip, and the desert isn't far behind them. Few cities pack this much atmosphere into a walkable old town.
